Description
The Division of General Surgery, Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care, at the Yale School of Medicine, in conjunction with the Yale-New Haven Health System, is seeking an acute care surgeon to join our faculty and provide services at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. The position is at the Assistant or Associate Professor level commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Bridgeport is conveniently located between Boston and New York. It is a great place to live, work, do business, enjoy life close to the shore, and live in the surrounding communities with ample New England charm. There are ample opportunities to live within 20 minutes on the coast or in surrounding villages with small-town charm. In addition, the greater New Haven and Fairfield County area offers some of the top public and private schools in the country.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will be Board Eligible or board-certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Candidates will need excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and the commitment to make essential contributions in the clinical field of General Surgery, Trauma, and Surgical Critical Care.
