Position Overview:
Join Emory University s Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery as a full time, fellowship trained cardiothoracic surgeon focused on adult cardiac surgery
Practice Highlights:
- Full scope adult cardiothoracic surgery in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Deliver exceptional clinical care, drive quality and patient safety initiatives, and manage access to clinical trials
- Implement and refine new tools and innovative approaches in adult cardiac surgery
- Engage in departmental committees, peer reviews, and morbidity & mortality conferences
- Conduct case presentations, lead patient workups and procedures per departmental guidelines
- Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement efforts within the Division
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and rotating trainees through the cardiothoracic surgery service
Qualifications:
- Fellowship-trained in adult cardiothoracic surgery
- Board certified or board eligible in cardiothoracic surgery
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, research, and teaching
