Consultant Cardiac Surgery (PL)

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional healthcare services. As a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing a full range of cardiac surgical services including diagnosis, treatment, and post-operative care to patients.

• Perform advanced cardiac surgeries, including coronary artery bypass, heart valve repair, and heart transplant.
• Evaluate patient’s medical history and conduct thorough physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient’s condition and medical history.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals, including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise and assist in the training and education of residents and medical students.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac surgery and implement new techniques and procedures as deemed appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures and maintain complete and accurate patient records.
• Graduation from an approved medical school plus one year of internship and three years of residency; certification by the American Board of Cardiac Surgery or Member of the Royal College of Physicians (or its equivalent).
• At least five (5) years of practice as a Cardiac Surgery.
• Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
• Must be highly skilled in the particular field of practice, with mature clinical judgment and ability to provide professional leadership. She must have a thorough knowledge of Medical Department policies and procedures with particular reference to the obligation to maintain the confidentiality of his work; personality which inspires confidence and trust in his patients; and adhere to Bylaws, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Organization.
• Current licensure in country of origin and with DHA license to practice as a Specialist/Consultant Cardiac Surgery in Dubai, U.A.E.
• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, superiors, patients & families.
