Job Description
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery is accepting applications for an Open Rank Professor, Vascular Surgeon (Academic). Our practice includes an accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship and Residency Programs.
Responsibilities
Primary clinical responsibilities include care of the vascular patient over the entire spectrum of vascular conditions including complex open and endovascular surgery, and management of penetrating and blunt vascular trauma.
In addition to outstanding clinical care, the successful candidate will participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Research support may be available based on candidate experience and area of investigation.
Qualifications
Candidate must be
- board eligible/ board certified in Vascular Surgery and eligible for academic appointment at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
- Committed to providing quality clinical care, student/resident teaching, and research.
- Additional Board eligibility and/or certification in minimally invasive surgery is desirable.
